“As an apple grower, I am very concerned about the environment and the cost of apple production,” said Randy Graham, co-owner of Curtis Orchard in Champaign, and member of the Illinois State Horticultural Society. “C-FAR research is critical for Illinois apple producers because applicable research must be carried out in the region where it will be used.”
